Glycine Soja Protein description

_Glycine soja_ protein is extracted from the wild soybean plant, _Glycine soja_ (as opposed to the domesticated version of the plant, _Glycine max_). Like other parts of soybeans, the proteins from this plant have antioxidant properties. This ingredient is also an emollient, helping to condition skin and prevent moisture loss. Among the proteins in soy are albumins and globulins, found in many other legumes, which is the food group soybeans are in. The independent Cosmetic Ingredient Review has ruled _Glycine soja_ protein safe in its current usage, where the maximum concentration of use is 0.9%.
